The french photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand has travelled around the earth for almost 10 years photographing the earth from an helicopter. The result is a book and an exhibition which has been shown in several cities in Europe, and in New York, Mexico and San Paulo. Recently in Copenhagen and now in Aarhus.

The exhibition will come later this year to Rome, London and other cities. Do not miss this exhibition if you visit a place where it is shown.

The exhibition can be seen in Aarhus until October 31 .

The inauguration was performed by the Danish Minister for Environment and Energy Svend Auken. He is here taking notes for translation while Yann Arthus-Bertrand is speaking. Behind him you can see the Mayor of Aarhus Flemming Knudsen. 34
The exhibition consists of 120 large photographs which can be seen day and night. In Aarhus it takes up all the area from the Cathedral at Store Torv to Lille Torv and to Vadestedet (Aarhus River) This panorama from Store Torv was made at the inauguration.
