This Night, museums, theatres and many other cultural institutions are open until midnight. In Århus the official program contained 41 arrangements. Special events for this night, concerts, open house at places normally not open, exhibitions. |

| The Art Museum has an exhibition with American Photorealists. An exhibition which has been a great succes. It runs until nov. 25. A special event for the evening was the cars from a club for American Veteran Cars. Link: The Art Museum | 41 |

| The Danish Poster Museum is a unique museum based on the private collection by the Artist Peder Stougaard. The Museum now has about 200.000 posters from all the world. Peder Stougaard (who you can see in the panorama) is today the leader of the museum. At this evening a special exhibition by 5 Hungarian artists was opened. | The Scandinavian Congress Center is an impressive building nabour to the Concert Hall. Musicians has found the acoustics to be fantastic and it is now also used for Concerts. The place is so large that people can come and go without disturbing, which makes it ideal for concerts at an event like the Culture Night. The concert above is by the Choir Sedjanka singing Bulgarian folksongs and conducted by Michael Detchef. Another concert by Aarhus Symphony Orchestra started the evening in the Congress Centre |
