November 20th, 2001 we had an election to the Parliment as well as the regional councils and municipal councils. The result was that the Liberal party for the first time since 1929 got bigger than the Social-Democratic Party. The new Prime Minister Anders Fog Rasmussen has to rule together with to other parties from the right wing.
The panorama is from the centre of Aarhus a few days before the election. The red rose is a symbol for the Social Democratic Party and is used as a give away.
In Aarhus we got a new young Mayor from the Liberal Party. She is 29 years old and a Lawyer of Profession.
